QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRANCE

Students can enter the following Degrees of the University of London through three alternate routes:

1. Degree Route 2. Diploma Route. 3. Access Route

Minimum Age

Normally be 17 years, on or before 30 November in the year of registration.

Normally be 18 years on or before 31 December in the year of registration.

Mathematics and English Requirement

Year XII CBSE all India/ Delhi SSC –OR- Year XII CISC Indian School Certificate, 4 acceptable academic subjects each passed at 80% or better.


If Maths is not one of the 4 subjects, then atleast 50% in Maths in XII  SSC/CBSE or 60% in State Board

Passes HSC/ISC/CBSE or equivalent State Senior Secondary Examination Board

Mathematics as one of the subjects in Std XII or at least 60% & above in Std XI
+
Must pass an examination conducted by RSIC in Mathematics and English
+
Personal interview to determine academic ability and potential to study at Degree level

Passes HSC in at least 4 subjects with 60% marks. Passes ISC/CBSE in at least 4 subjects with 50% marks, One of the subjects must be mathematics in both routes. Alternaatively 60% or above in mathematics at Std. XI may be considered on a case to case basis

Provide proof of competence in English acceptable to the University (TOEFL/IELTS)

IB Diploma

Mathematics and English Requirement

To be eligible for the Standard Route of one of the degrees you must:
Have either passes in:

two subjects at GCE ‘A’ level, plus at least three further subjects at GCSE/GCE ‘O’ level at Grace C or above; or
three subjects at GCE ‘A’ level (with one ‘A’ level at not less than grade D); or
three subjects at GCE ‘A’ level and one further subject at GCSE/GCE ‘O’ level at Grade C or above ;or
two subjects at GCE ‘A’ level, plus two further subjects at GCE ‘AS’ level and

 

Demonstrate competence in Mathematics at least equivalent to GCSE/GCE ‘0’ level at Grade C or above and
All students require evidence of proficiency in English Language.

OR
Passes GCE “A” in Level two subjects (not less than Grade C)
Note: This is the basic minimum we would expect students to have
