Dr. Raja Roy Choudhury - Programme Director, ReStore

Dr. Raja Roy Choudhury, MSc(Eco), MS (Psychotherapy), MBA, PHD, Certified Lead Auditor, is the Programme Director, ReStore, Russell Square International College, Mumbai having over 20 years of rich experience in Strategic Planning, Sales & Marketing, Research, Training & Development in critical domain areas such as IT Education & Consulting, Business Process Redesign & Change Management, TQM & ISO 9000 QMS, International Trade, Immigration & Study Overseas, Media, Office Automation and Retailing.

He has served organizations such as Price Waterhouse, Datapro, Aptech, Zeba, AToZ, Times Group in senior management positions before embarking upon an international assignment as CEO, Fuji Xerox in South Pacific. He returned back to India in May, 2006 and since then has been working on research, training and development activities pertaining to the growth of retailing as a sunrise industry in India. He has received his doctorate in technology induced retailing for his pioneering work in converting a philatelic bureau called Post Fiji into a convergence retailing hub and the related technology & quality systems associated with such a change.He is authoring a book on technology induced retailing (a complete software process model) which would significantly benefit the student community as well as the professionals in the retail and IT sector.
 

 
Mr. Kiran Despande: Head - Programme Delivery

Mr. Kiran Despande, BSC, BSC Tech, MFM is a techno-management specialist with vast knowledge in project management, strategic planning, management consulting and training having served organizations such as Bombay Dyeing, First Aid Medicines, Corn Products, Godrej Soaps before venturing on his own to set up Apna Bazaar Retail Stores and retail training cum consulting business practice. Kiran is a visiting faculty with NMIMS, Chetana Management Institute in Finance, Production, ERP and Retailing.
  

 
Ms. Ruchi Srivastava – Head Business Development

Ruchi Srivastava, a go-getter by habit, has done her Masters in Human Resource Management, from SNDT College. She believes that ‘commitment’ and ‘belief in the cause’ are the two tenets that determine the success of any venture.

She started her stint with Taj Group of Hotels and moved ahead to create a niche for herself in the field of Retail. With a total experience of more than 5 years, she spent 3 years getting a publication project off the grounds with the credit of creating the publication logo and the company logo in her kitty. She played an integral role in product development activities, demonstrated proficiency in providing effective business solutions with a creative and analytical approach, leadership and supervisory skills, and effective communication of ideas.

Presently she is working as Head Business Development for ReStore.

 
Ms. Nisha Shetty – Research Officer

Ms Shetty has done Masters in Business Administration in Human Resource Management, from Dr. Gazi Management & Technical College, she believes that her stint with the corporate world has taught her the tricks to tackle situations which involve employee emotions without causing any
emotional distress as well as getting the work done.

In addition, Ms Shetty has participated in various debates, hosted HR conventions and presented on issues related to HR such as Leadership Styles, Performance Management system and Handling Grievances of Workmen; held at her college.

Her extracurricular activities include practicing Reiki method of natural healing and Crystal therapy in Natural Healing.

Presently Ms Shetty is working as a Research Officer for RSIC.
 

 
Ms. Harshada Kulkarni – Programme Support

Ms. Harshada Kulkarni has studied Home Science, Software Engineering and Graphic Designing and Advertising from University of Mumbai. Before
joining Russell Square International College, she was working as a senior Ad Designer in an advertising firm. She also headed the Mumbai branch of the firm. Harshada also worked for the Citi Financial group.

Currently she is working as Programme Support Executive for one of the Professional Training Programmes - ReStore at Russell Square International College.
