Why study at RSIC?

Russell Square International College (RSIC) is one of RSIC is one of a handful of institutions worldwide that have be awarded Affiliate Centre status for the University of London International Programmes. This means that in the considered view of the University of London RSIC has demonstrated a sustained commitment to high standards in respect of the teaching, support and administration of University of London International Programmes students. The fact that the University of London has awarded Affiliate Centre Status is vindication of the commitment towards excellence in terms of qualified and highly experienced academic and administrative support that RSIC ensures to each and every student enrolling with it.

RSIC has been formally given “Permission to Teach” the Diploma in Economics and the Diploma in Social Sciences by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

The degrees are awarded by the University of London and the curriculum is managed by LSE. The LSE formulates the syllabus, develops the study material, sets examination papers and marks the scripts of RSIC students.

LSE’s motto is Rerum Cognoscere Causes: ‘To know the causes of things – thus students studying at RSIC on degrees designed by LSE need to: Think critically, be skeptical, be logical and passionate about the key issues related to society and the economy.

RSIC is the only college in Mumbai with faculty having vast experience of the UOL programme. . The class size and the low student-teacher ratio ensures a healthy environment of encouragement and motivation which is essential for the students to enjoy this challenging programme and make it an important milestone of their career they can fondly look back to. RSIC adopts a student centric approach to teaching and learning by using the lecture tutorial method. With one to one guidance and mentoring during office hours, seminars and support classes, RSIC ensures that the students are able to maximize their individual potential.
